The road of the Corniche d’Or…

…is a magnificent road bordered by the turquoise Mediterranean waters and the red rocks of the Estérel mountains which link Saint-Raphaël to Cannes.
This route was used by Romans more than 2,000 years ago when the trail was called “Via Aurelia“.
At the beginning of the 20th century, a new road was created to meet new requirements: on one hand, the emergence of tourism, but also the great beginnings of the automobile industry.
The success did not take long: it was now possible to go back and forth betweenCannes and St-Raphaël during the day, while taking advantage of the breathtaking landscapes that this road offers..
