Esterel Caravaning has been among the best campsites in Europe since 2014, winning the highest awards from ADAC and ANWB. These German and Dutch automobile clubs each have several million members. The ANWB has once again voted Esterel Caravaning “TOP Camping 2020” as one of Europe’s best campsites this year. As for the German automobile club, it awarded the prestigious “ADAC Superplatz 2020” prize to Aurore Laroche, director of Esterel Caravaning on January 10th in Stuttgart during the gala evening.
For the record, every year, qualified ADAC and ANWB inspectors visit over 3 000 campsites in 37 countries, out of the 35 000 European campsites. More than 380 criteria are checked in about 10 areas: the number and quality of sanitary facilities, equipment, maintenance and design of shops and restaurants, leisure facilities, swimming pools… These evaluation criteria are regularly reviewed and adapted to current trends in the camping industry.
The entire team, proud to have obtained the supreme distinction, continues to make Esterel Caravaning ride the wave of luxury: “Over the last few years, we have worked to make Esterel Caravaning evolve considerably, always tending towards more innovation and comfort. This is a great honour”, rejoices Aurore Laroche, director of Esterel Caravaning.
Note that after having created the first pitches with private bathrooms in 1976, then the first accommodations with spa and the first mobile home with a private swimming pool a few years ago, in 2019, Esterel Caravaning offered its customers the first white south of France sandy beach in the middle of nature, in the heart of the Esterel mountains…For 2020, this establishment still has a few nice surprises in store for its holidaymakers with, among other things, the renovation of the “Rosaces” pitches equipped with private heated bathrooms.
